My name is Irena … I have always been, and continue to be, inspired by nature and the creative arts…  I am a chef, a painter , a sculptor  and a jewellery designer.   I am self-disciplined in all but the culinary arts.  I strive for excellence in all the endeavours I take on.

My passion for hand-crafted jewellery began  years ago on a shopping excursion in the heart of the fashion district in Toronto…  The bountiful and beautiful display of pearls and semi-precious stone beads hanging on the walls of the many shops I visited excited me …  So many beautiful stones, colours, and textures; so much opportunity for creativity…   I became inspired and captivated…

Thus was born Aquarian Arts….  I am a self-taught artisan,  all of my  pieces are handcrafted and unique – no two are identical, such is the nature of semi-precious stones…  I use only sterling and bali silver, freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones and swarovski crystals and pearls…  My pieces are of the highest quality & workmanship and range in styling from the classic & timeless, the fun & flirty to the unique and avant-garde…
