-Avoid swimming, cleaning or showering while wearing your jewellery, and take special care when applying perfumes or lotions. The chemicals can discolor your semi-precious stones and cause damage.
-Silver will tarnish – to slow the tarnishing process, wear your pieces often, and store them in a plastic bag or with an anti-tarnish strip. If it does tarnish, just wipe with a soft treated jewelers cloth to make it shine anew
-Follow instructions when using an ultrasonic cleaner, and avoid using it for softer stones such as pearls, turquoise, amber, coral and opals – the ultrasonic cleaner can cause permanent damage.
-If you must clean your softer semi-precious stone jewellery, use warm water, a gentle soap and a very soft brush.
-The best way to store your jewellery is in its original box, or a separate compartment in your jewellery box.
